Remembering our Dear Nancy again this year. It doesn't seem possible, all the years that have passed. She was a wonderful online friend who is eternally missed for who she was. Caring, loving, concerned for others. My extended sympathies to her family and friends who are also missing her.

Oh! This is such sad sad news, - have only just found this site and learned of our dear Nancy's passing! We had been online friends for several years and I have been watching email each day for Nancy's cheery messages - the last I heard from Nancy was the night of 17 March and she said she would write again the following day, but I never heard again, and have been very concerned as the time has moved along with no more contact from her.
Dear David and Melissa, my heartfelt condolences to you both. David, I just sent a note to Nancy yesterday, before knowing what had happened. I didn't think of checking online until the early hours of this morning. I am so very sad to lose my wonderful friend.
Nancy was the kindest and most caring person, as others have stated.
On 16 March, Nancy sent me a beautiful photo of an Eagle, nestling up against its handler. When I see the bald eagles in our area, I will always think of Dear Sweet Nancy, and I will say
"Fly Free now, Dear Friend Nancy".
I'll never forget you, Nancy. Bless you.
love from Alandra

I am so sad to hear about Nancy, she was such a very special and dear friend, I will miss her so much.
We met online about 12 years ago and even through my moving home and country, we managed to keep in touch. I looked forward every day to her encouraging words and happy letters.
I feel blessed that we were able to speak on the phone just a few weeks ago. She spoke often of her great love for her family and I can't begin to imagine how hurt they must be to lose her.
We have been friends for many years now and I find it difficult to imagine a day without her uplifting and loving letters.
God bless you my dear "sister", may we meet again someday
With love and deepest condolences,

Dearest NANCY - My heart is breaking. You were the best friend I have ever found on line. Each day I looked forward to finding your name in my box. It looks like I was the last one you wrote to and so happy I was able to write back before you took your trip to Heaven. As I write this the tears are streaming down my face because this is the hour we had our most beautiful chats each day I loved you so much because you were truly the sister I never had. All the things you told me will always remain in my broken heart. But we shall be together again one day and I am so sorry we will not get to meet for lunch at O'Hare airport as we planned. I love you very much. Always Elinore

My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Nancy's husband and family. I met Nancy many years ago on a Victorian Decorating and Lifestyles, online email group. She was a wonderful, lovely, lady that we all instantly warmed up to. She was loving and caring and interested in all whom she met.

She was an encourager and when I lost my companion dog, she continued to send me links to faith filled passages online that were meant to give me encouragement and strength to get through the earliest days of having lost my wonderful little companion. She made me feel better with her loving interest in my loss.

She did the same thing when my husband became so critically and suddenly ill a couple of years ago and I was on the verge of giving up myself. Nancy was always there with a word of encouragement and support. It meant so much. She still asks about him yet, and was so happy that he had recovered well.

I can't tell you how much I am going to miss Nancy.

God speed my dear, dear friend. May Angels greet you as I know they will. It is a small comfort to know you are going to be up there watching down on all of us, when we would rather have you here.

In sympathy to the Dibble Family and in loving remembrance of Nancy Dibble,

Juanita Bainter

Nancy was an online friend through our group, The Gazebo. Nancy always had a comforting and encouraging word when times were tough. She was such an uplifting person. I will miss her greatly.
