Bergen: Born 8/5/45, in Olean, NY, now of Bergen, died Friday, October 17, 2008 at age 63; husband of 45 years to Barbara; father of Thomas R. Stephens, Jr. & Donald M. Stephens; grandfather of Shelby & Kimberly Stephens of Cuba; brother of Delores Bailor of Friendship and the late Joan Meyers, Charles, James, Richard & Victor Stephens; brother-in-law of Donna (Mark) Kramer of Bergen, Bonnie Jary of Albion, Donald (Deborah) Jones of Albion, Harry (Cindy) Jones of Holley, David Jones & Charles Meyers of Naples; also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Tom was a conservationist, hunter and fisherman and was loved by many. He worked at Eastman Kodak Co. for 30 years.
Calling 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 51 South Lake Street, Bergen, where services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a college fund for Tom's beloved granddaughters Shelby and Kimberly Stephens. Condolences at

I worked with Tommy for a few years at GJ Romig and he was always fun to be around and was quite the joker. I learned alot from him and am thankful for the privilege of knowing him.

I feel very thankful we got a chance to spend our time with Tom camping up north. He was a great man that made us laugh and we all enjoyed ourselves around the fire. Our fun times with him will be in our memories always.
