I will never forget my good friend Chuck Tanguay. Chuck had an uncageable spirit, a quick wit, was too damn handsome when the girls were around, pretty darn smart, a good guy....man, we had alot of fun in our younger formative/crazy years. We had many an adventure in the Rochester area and in California. I will always remember his quick smile and the friendship I have treasured through the years. I still can remember a photo of Chuck (in the Democrat and Chronicle - way back in the 70's) ice climbing in the gorge/ravine near Kodak...a policeman had come over to inquire what Chuck was up to and why would anyone be ice climbing in Rochester in the middle of the winter! That was Charlie. Chuck and I ocean kayaked together in the Pacific, another time Chuck talked me into kayaking on the Kern River...he and a more experienced friend went for the class 5 rapids..leaving me with verbal instruction and only a class 4! They take off and the next thing I know I'm going down the river upside down..opening my eyes underwater to be able to reach my arms out and fend off the rapidly approaching rapid making boulders! Whew...Chuck taught me to eat artichokes and I taught him how to surf. I'll always keep you in my heart buddy. I've loved you as a brother. Scott Puckett
