Paul Buschner Obituary
Rochester: Survived by his loving wife, Winifred of 64 years; sons, Kenneth (Michelle) and David (Kathleen); beloved grandchildren, Shannon, Benjamin, Caitlin, Erica and Zachary; siblings, Fred (Susan) of Mass., Carl (Marge) of Mass., and Elsa Buschner Carpenter (Robert) of Vermont, and many friends. Mr. Buschner served his country as a Lieutenant and pilot in the Air Force in WWII, and proudly and always brought back his entire flight crew safely. He spent his working career at the American Brakeshoe/Abex Corporation first in New Jersey and then in Rochester, retiring to enjoy his family and an active life of golf and travel.
A Memorial Service will be held in celebration of his life on November 10th at the Interfaith Chapel at the University of Rochester, 320 Wilson Blvd. at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his honor to the U of R Parkinson's Research at: Butler Fund c/o Leslie Briner, 1351 Mt. Hope Ave., Suite 223, Roch., NY 14620. Arr. Leo M. Bean and Sons.

Dave, Kathy, Zach, & Erica,
The Buschner Home was like a second home to me from Kindergarten through High School and is an important part of my childhood.
It would be easy to write many pages. Here are just a few of so so many things that come to mind about Mr. B. that I could go on and on about.....
Always welcoming
Hearty laugh and great sense of humor
Interesting and Thrifty ... like the Anglia and the Saab (very different way back then)
Meticulous about the yard and the property
Garage neat as a pin.
Wasn't it a rolled up washcloth hanging on a string ..in the garage?

Calm & friendly ....truly nice
