Dear Adams Family,
My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. I have such great memories of growing up in Westwood Acres. All of us kids had a special bond. They were the best of times. All the parents were super kind as well. Ty was such a great person. He will be missed.

My dear friend Kim Baer just sent me your sad news. I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I moved into the neighborhood in junior high, and Ty was my first real crush in 7th grade. I think I wrote his name on everything I owned, including embroidering it onto my favorite jeans! I have many fond memories of those days that I will always treasure. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

The the Adams family,
It's with overwhelming sadness that I add my entry to this Guest Book. Ironically, my favorite memory of Ty was sharing a hour of continuous, tear-squirting laughter on a plane returning from Chicago to Columbus.
He was the head of the Lease Link Field Support Dept. when initially there were only three of us to supervise. His extraordinary patience coupled with his firm guidance and instruction always kept the ever-expanding group in line until it was time to play--and play we did!
As evidenced here, the Lease Link family still shares a unique bond that Ty helped to create and maintain. He always wanted to "take us to the next level." It seems in some way that through his passing that he has done just that.
My prayers go out to your entire family and especially to his beloved daughters.

Dear Adams Family:
As many have said, my deepest condolences go out to you and the rest of your family. 10 years ago today I started in this business with Lease Link. Ty was the one who gave me that opportunity and hired me. His door was always open to me and the younger people who were eager to succeed in the business and especially at Lease Link. I will always remember those times and him!
P.S. I included a link (that I've kept over the years) of some pictures that you may be interested in looking at and putting some names with some faces. http://www.pbase.com/jzerrip

I worked with Ty when I first started with Lease Marketing, Ltd. in 1997. I was impressed with his wide range of knowledge. Not only was he heading up Field Support, he had also written the utility programs used by Tech Support. He always wore his friendly face no matter how tough things got. We had many conversations that helped guide me through my 9 year career with Lease Marketing (LML Technologies).
My thoughts and prayers are with his family as they navigate their way through this immensely difficult time.

May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
The sun shine warm upon your face
The rain fall soft upon your fields
And until we meet again
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
God Bless Ty,

To Ty's Family:
I met Ty many years ago when he worked at Dave Gill Pontiac. I was fortunate a few years later to invite him to come to work for LeaseLink. It was a special time with special people and he was a big part of that. Ty was always a team player and willing to do whatever you asked.
They say that memories are the legacy we leave behind. I would say, based on the many comments posted by his friends, Ty has left quite a legacy and that must warm your hearts - even as you grieve.

I learned about Ty's death while on vacation, appropriately enough, since I spent one of the happiest months of my life on the road with him in Canada. He managed to talk me into quiting my job and joining him on a "Road-trip of a lifetime " through the Canadian Rockies. It was a life changing event that help to lay the path for a lot of my life. He was a fine man with a warm smile and a loving nature. He will be missed by many and I am disappointed that the opportunity to share those memories with him has passed. I'm sorry I couldn't be there. My love, thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Dear Adams Family,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Like many others, I knew Ty from the glory years at Lease Link. Ty was clearly loved by all as evidenced by the outpouring of sympathy from his previous co-workers. I will always remember Ty as a loving father, a dedicated employee, and a compassionate friend.

Wow, where do you begin to start with something like this. I'm still a bit shocked. One thing this has done is bring our small LML family back together. Ty was always good about that in more ways then he knew. I met Ty 13 years ago interviewing for a Field Support Position at LML. He took a big risk with me not coming from the business. But as many has said he always saw the best in people and knew what it would take to make it work for the company. He was a company person and would do whatever was needed for us to be successful. He was a great mentor as I was building my career and a good friend as he was to all of us. He will truly be missed. To his family, you had a wonderful son and Father. He treasured you all. You are all in my prayers. God Bless!

As so many have mentioned already, my fondest memories of Ty will also always include his unique ability to put a smile on the faces of those around him and bring out the best of each person he touched. He defined leadership and friendship and left me numerous memories that will be with me forever. To coin one of his favorite phrases from years ago at LML, he will be missed as far "as the crow flies".

I also worked with Ty at LML and we flew on many of the same flights. On this paticular flight we were retuning from Chicago and are flight had been delayed. All Ty could do was pace, and look at his watch. Ty was so excited to get home because he was taking the girls to Cedar Point for the weekend. He did not want to disapoint his girls they were everything to him. My deapest thoughts and prayes go out to your family.

Please accept my condolences during this difficult time. I also met Ty in 1996 through Lease Link. I remember many times, we would ride in the limo back to to the airport to catch the same flight to Columbus. He was always so excited to spend the time with his two daughters. It was obvious he really missed them. Ty was a kind, gentle man. When I think of Lease Link, I think of Ty.
God Bless,

Dear Adams Family,
In the mid 1990’s a small group of people came together and created something magical. Through dedication, hard work, long hours, sacrifices and commitment something was born to the automotive world that was quite special. Others had tried and failed but these people succeeded in an astounding way. One of the significant reasons for the incredible success was Ty Adams. Ty was a part of the creation, a member of the original team.
Ty had an infectious enthusiasm for his work which made others do more. He had a contagious laugh which made people comfortable to work with him. He had a willingness to participate in any way needed teaching others along the way. He made personal sacrifices setting an exemplary example to the rest. He liked to have fun. He made work fun and he made social times more fun. Ty was a kind man, rarely raising his voice. In fact the only time I recall him mad was when he lost to me on the golf course, and that wasn’t very often.
Sadly the dream run of Lease Link came to an end. I apologize to you for not doing more to keep it alive and you have my most heartfelt prayers in your time of loss. Thank you for sending Ty to the Lease Link family.

Dear Adams Family: May God bless you and your family at this time of sorrow. I had the pleasure of working with Ty at Lease Link for 9 years and we shared the same birthday together, one year apart and called each other on our special day. He was an honorable, loving friend to me and I only wish we could have been closer during his time of need. Romel, Grant, and I attended his memorial for all of us in the Lease Link family who could not attend and our prayers continue for the family in their hour of need. I will miss you Ty. You were a good man.

Ty was simply a great person! I always thought him to be a kind and respectful man and after attending his memorial service, I saw just how many people shared my views! SO many!
One thing I have learned from Ty's death- tell those you care about NOW how much you love and admire them! How much their presence in your life means. Time is truly short and unpredictable! May God bless and care for all who loved you, Ty!

Adams Family,
My condolences and prayers are with you. Like so many others, I too, had the pleasure of being a co-worker and friend of Ty's at Lease Link. Words can't describe how much Ty helped me grow into who I am today by just taking the time to care. Ty's nickname for me was "Flash" because I always called him back faster than anyone (in the days of pagers). I've kept that nickname until today, and now always will, in honor of my friend.
God's Blessings,

I was deeply saddened to hear of Ty's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Ty for a number of years at LML. I remember Ty would always remind me that "It's the quality, not the length of life that matters most". Ty's kindness, generosity and mentoring to his colleagues are his legacy.

Ty was my friend. I am still in disbelief. One of the strongest character strengths I recall about Ty was his absolute unwavering love and dedication for his daughters. May all his loved ones find peace in this time of sorrow.
