My husband and I are so very sorry to hear that a piece of Westminster's history has left us. My first memory of Mr. Dawley was in 1966 when I first started teaching at the elementary school. I lived on Main Street, so would walk to work. The crackers were baking, and Mr. Dawley would offer me a warm cracker. Now, when ever we see the famous label of the Cracker Factory, we always think about Mr. Dawley. Please accept our most sincere condolences. This man will be missed by so many.

On behalf of the Walter Wilcox family, I would like to express our sympathy. Our family has many memories of their friendship with the Dawley family throughout many years. I always admired Porter Dawley and remember him as one of the finest gentlemen I have known.
