Mary Finch Obituary

Mary Finch Resident of Fremont Mary Finch, entered peacefully into rest September 30, 2010 at Washington Hospital in Fremont, CA. Born June 24, 1918 in Atlanta, Georgia, she was 92 years old and a Fremont resident since 1963. She loved to travel the world, dance, sing in the choir, enjoyed the theatre and tending her rose garden. She was also an avid reader and crossword puzzle enthusiast and enjoyed Reno bus trips. A long time member of Centerville Presbyterian Church, she was also active with the Elks Club and the Kiwanis's. Mary was preceded in death by her husband George Finch, sons Geoffrey Finch and Melvin Finch, sisters Cynthia F. Simpson and Jane L. Merriot and brother Howard L. Park. She is survived by two nephews, six nieces and many great nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial service in celebration of Mary's life, Tuesday, October 5th at 11:00 a.m. held at Centerville Presbyterian Church, 4360 Central Avenue, Fremont, CA.
