Harold Shapiro Obituary

Harold "Hal" Shapiro Harold "Hal" Shapiro, 84, of Waikoloa, Hawaii passed away peacefully at his home June 17, 2010. He lived in the Hawaiian Islands for 23 years. Born in Petaluma, CA, he was a semi-retired manufacturer's representative for Barnboo Cay, member of the Hawaii Sales Representative Association, mernber of the Big Island Marine Corps League and WWII Marine Corps veteran serving in the Pacific. Hal's smile, quick wit, warmth and generosity will be missed by all who knew him. He was a loving and kind person. Hal is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Ze; son and wife, Dave and Terry Shapiro, stepson and wife, Bret and Regina Shapiro; stepson Bart Shapiro, five grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service, celebrating is life, will be held Sunday, October 10, 2010 at 3:30 PM at the home of Mike and Susan Levy, 20 Chelsea Court, Oakland, CA 946ll, 510-531-8159, email to: [email protected].
