I love you, Gladys. My favorite teacher ever. You treated me like a daughter.

Gladys was the most important teacher I ever had. As a foster child I was often treated strangely and made fun of. When I walked into Gladys' classes, I was treated like a person of great worth and I could accomplish anything. She remained a part of my life through correspondence and visits, the last just this February. My deepest sympathy to her husband and family. Marilyn Fuller Edge, TDHS Class of '57
