Adrienne Hargon Obituary

Our beloved Adrienne passed away on July 16, 2009 in El Dorado Hills, CA. Born on June 27, 1968, she grew up in Groveland, CA. She completed the ROP program for nursing and graduated from Sonora High School. After high school, she worked tirelessly to put herself through school and earned degrees in Fire Services, EMT Services, and registered nursing. She worked for CDF and various fire agencies before graduating from Sierra College in 1995 and discovered that her true calling was in emergency/trauma nursing. Although she worked as a nurse for many agencies, including helicopter nurse for CalStar and nurse for El Dorado County Jail, it was her many years at Sutter Roseville Medical Center that she cherished the most. She loved fishing, camping, attending renaissance faires and playing with her Beagles, Beau and Bailey. Her three children meant the world to her. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother Susan Steinmetz. She is survived by her husband of 11 years Mark Hargon, father Peter Steinmetz, Georgia mom and dad Robert and Donna Truesdale, brothers Jon Steinmetz and Nathan Gamer, sister Lisa Perich (Trevor), son Trent Archer (17), and daughters, Brenna Grayce (5) and Brielle Claire (4). Adrienne also had many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws that meant the world to her. A memorial service celebrating Adrienne's life will be held on Friday, July 24, 2009, @ 10:00 am, at Green Valley Mortuary in Cameron Park. Please call (530) 677-7171 for details or visit www.greenvalleymortuary.com. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to The Hargon Children Trust c/o Mark Hargon, Bank of America, El Dorado Hills, CA. We're gonna miss you Adrienne! Services July 24 2009 10:00 a.m.

Mark, I only learned of this today and am so very shocked and heartbroken. I always thought we would have time to reconnect and attend more Faires and Scottish Games together. I worked with Adrienne at SRMC and know her to be as beautiful inside as she was outside. She is a brilliant, wonderful person, who I have always admired and respected. She (you both) helped me through a very rough time in my life, and I will always cherish my memories of her. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

To Adrienne's family:
Adrienne and I went to school together before and after nursing school competing with each other all the way. We (her nursing student friends) were so impressed when she had her son between semesters and was back at school the Monday after Christmas vacation. What a sorrowful loss to your family and to the nursing industry. My sincerest condolences. Lu Ann Thackara

I am so sorry for your loss! I worked with Adrienne for many years at Sutter Roseville, and in fact Adrienne worked for me in the Trauma Department. Adrienne was one of the brightess people I knew, had a great sense of humor, and it's so sad to see someone so gifted leave this world so early. Adrienne and I spoke alot about Sonora as I grew up there, and also graduated from Sonora High. I enjoyed being around Adrienne very much. I wish you all strength during this very difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the children. Fondly, Christy Frecceri, RN Trauma Program Manager, So. Sacramento Kaiser.

Dear Mark
My deepest condolences to you and your family. I was so sad to hear of Adrienne's passing. I had not seen her in a very long time, for which I am regretful. But I have fond memories of our time spent at Sierra College's nursing program. I admired Adriennes intelligence, confidence and that gorgeous red hair. May your most precious memories, forever in your heart, carry you through this difficult time.
