Jonathan W Blanton

When I heard the news that Aunt Jewell had went on to Glory I cried the largest tears of joy that any one could cry. She was the foundation of the Blanton family for as long as I can remember. Her and Uncle Jim were always there when some one was in need or needed guidance. She was the one who called when a blizzard had hit town to see if they were safe and needed any thing. She was the one that was there when a family member needed help taking care of a sick or dying parent or child. She always had a prayer , a hug and a kiss for you when you were down on your luck. I know how much that my big Bro Donnie looked up to her all thru his tough times in life and I know how much she cared for me and my bothers , sister and all my cousins looked up to her. As it says in her obituary she never met a stranger as we all know. Now she is in Heaven with Mom, Dad ,Donnie, and Uncle Jim and boy what a time that must be. My heart goes out to Phil, Beck, and Andy and their families. They did break the mold the day she was born, Go set high on that Mountain my Lovely Aunt. Never to be forgotten Love, Jonathan Blanton
