Mr. Hayes was an outstanding history teacher at Lemon Monroe HS. He greatly assisted out son to be accepted to Harvard and aided him in receiving a large scholarship. He was a man of many fine deeds. Will be sadly missed.

As I reflect on the many conversations I had with Mr. Hayes, I’m left with so many blessings. Mr. Hayes gave me so many words of encouragement as I pressed forward in purpose! His personal notes to me, phone calls and financial investment in my ministry at Faith United Church were truly appreciated. May this kind gentle soul rest in God’s everlasting arms. Also, may God provide comfort to the entire Hayes Family during this valley of sorrow.
