I bowled with Ivan in the Monday night Englewood Merchants League at the Thunderbowl Lanes back in 1976-1981. He was a pretty good bowler back then. We even won a league championship together one year, along with Ken White, Bruce Unger, and Harry Keeney. I lost contact after I moved to Arizona in 1985. My condolences to Bev and the family.

We send our sympathies to the family upon his death. We only knew him as a marching patrol friend of the Bobbies back a few years ago when everyone was ten years younger, and he was always friendly, helpful and accommodating.

As I look at his warm smile, I am reminded of all the good times we shared at Ivan and Bev"s home in Union. They had an inground swimming pool and hosted many fun cook outs /summer Birthday celebrations for their Grandson Jason. THANK YOU Ivan, for always being such a generous host to me. You will be missed and remembered fondly. You were a True Gentleman and a friend to ALL! Bev, Teresa, Lee and Deb, I keep all of you in my prayers as you move forward with your lives. He was such a blessing to your family as your Husband and Dad! . Deepest Sympathy from Mark, Gail, Danielle and Eric Bankson.

To say I will miss Ivan is a great understatement. He was a friend and brother whose guidance is not replaceable. I'm so much better for having to have been able to be his friend. To his family you have my sincere sympathy and prayer. Thank you for sharing him with us at Englewood Lodge.

Ivan was one of a kind. Very giving. Always willing to help. The last time I talked to him he was working on helping a Boy Scout earn a badge! He will be missed. My heart goes out to the family. Terry Haines
