OGG, Gregory A.

73, of Englewood, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Gregory was born on January 8, 1947, in Dayton, OH, to Robert & Edith Ogg. He attended college at Miami University in Oxford, OH, where he majored in history. His passion for history remained throughout his life. He was a man of principle, passionate in his beliefs, and swore by the value of hard work. Gregory enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid gardener and fisherman. He was also proud of his collection of unique carnival glass. Greg was married to his former wife, Mary Ogg, from May of 1979 until their separation in 2008, and they raised two daughters together, Rebecca and Jessica. He worked as a manager for Kmart Corporation for over 25 years. Gregory was preceded in death by his mother and

father, and his nephew, Joel Simpson. He is survived by his two daughters, Rebecca Ogg and Jessica (Chris) Ogg-Dilger; his granddaughters, Lennon and Nora Ogg-Dilger; sisters,

Judith (Keith) Sidler and Cindy (Joe) Simpson; and his niece, Angelique Sidler. A family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia. To send a special message to the family, please visit www.mortonwhetstonefh.com.
