Idella HEINDL Obituary
"Idey"
Age 97, formerly of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Miami Valley Hospital from COVID. Idella was a member of the Church of Ascension where she sang in the choir for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ray; her parents, George and Marie Sheets; daughter, Delores Jean; brothers, George (Christa), Edward, and Jim; sisters, Alberta (CJ), Marian (Gary), Norma Jean, and Delores. Idella is survived by her daughter, Judith Kosvanec (Rich); grandson, Patrick Schmalstig; and sister, Bernadette Pinell (William). She was lovingly cared for during her final years by her niece, Tina Sheets, nephew, George (Gail) Sheets, sister-in-law, Christa (George) Sheets, and dear friend, Gail Banasiak. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, family and friends. Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at 11:00 am at the Church of the
Ascension, 2025 Woodman Drive, Kettering. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10-11 am at the church prior to mass. Aunt Idey was my favorite "Crazy-Days" sale shopper when I was a child. And when my cousin Judy was born, Aunt Idey brought her to MN, and we bonded in a mysterious platonic way, gradeschooler to infant. That loving bond continued through the years, and I hope cousin Judy feels that today. Aunt Idey brought to me my favorite golfing uncle, Uncle Ray. I played the best rounds of golf with him, he put everyone at ease with his personal charm. I appreciate the days we shared, and I thank God for those memories.
Aunt Idey you made a difference in my life. Peace and Rest.

Mommy, you're finally with Daddy again, this time for all Eternity. You are with all your dearly departed family and friends. Knowing that you are with them, and you are now in your most perfect form, and surrounded by never-ending Peace, Love, Light and Joy, gives me comfort. I am so glad I was still able to come visit you even after moving away. So glad I was able to come see you at the Sanctuary, too. I will never forget our times together and the laughs and the stories about the family and about your younger days. Even tho' I was not the most perfect child, and not the most perfect adult, you were still the best Mom in the world, and I'm so glad you told me many times that I was the best daughter a mother could have. You are gone from my life now, but I will always have the sweet memories, the photos and the videos to remember you. We WILL all be together again, some day, so this is not really "Goodbye", it's more like, "See you soon." Please give my love to everyone in Heaven--ESPECIALLY DADDY--and give Cuddles, Marbles, Little Miss Mew and Mr Muh'raow pets and kisses for me! I miss you already, every bit as much as I miss Daddy....and as you always said to me thru the years, I say to you..... "Sweet Dreams, God Bless! I love you Gobs and Gobs and Gobs!" Patrick sends his love too, and will miss you just as much.
