Maretta FARRIES Obituary

FARRIES, Maretta P.

83 of Springfield, passed away April 22, 2021, at Northwood Nursing Home. She was born in Springfield, Ohio, on December 11, 1937, the daughter of Foster and Lessie Davis. Maretta graduated from Northeastern High School in 1955. She enjoyed gardening and shopping; she was also known as an awesome cook; but her most important enjoyment was her family. Maretta was

preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert; sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Larry Freshour; brother-in-law Fred McGee; and granddaughter Julie. Survivors include her sons Randy (Susan) Farries, Marty (Donna) Farries and Barry (Jody) Farries; brother Kenny and Connie Davis; sister Milly McGee; and two grandchildren. Services to honor Maretta will be Tuesday at 1:00 pm in the Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home with visitation beginning at Noon with Pastor David DeHart officiating. Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Expressions of sympathy may be made at
