I was John's "backyard" neighbor our entire childhood.I can not recall all the things we did growing up. From sporting contests in the summer to playing Monopoly with sister Janet to blowing up the models we had built with firecrackers on the 4th of July. John did well in life and he was taken too soon.

I will miss John, we knew each other from2nd grade on up at Cleveland and of course Belmont High school. John was our leader and drew great respect from all class mates we also worked together on the 50th reunion in finding class mates and doing to assembly. Rest in Peace my friend and may God be with Family in their time of grief.

I was surprised John R. apparently never considered a political career. In high school John did not shrink from leadership and most recognized his talents to be a leader. John loved to laugh and he had a wicked sense of humor. I will miss my friend.

You were one of a kind my sweet cousin and I loved you so much. We grew up at a special time and we were always with family, playing, having fun....our incredible Christmas gatherings. You will be missed so much Nonny Babe and I will always love you. You and Sharyn had an amazing and beautiful family. Say hi to Roger
