The Penfield family
May 4, 2022
Our family was saddened to hear about the passing of one of the kindest boating friends we have known. Our sympathy goes out to Wendy, Chris and Doug.
Our found memories include his infectious smile that made his eyes squint. He loved sitting in the driver´s seat of his beautiful, yellow Ski Nautique with his arm resting on the side of his boat. Several times he saved the day! Once we left Jon´s crutches on the dock and Jim brought them to us before we realized they were missing. Another time, he brought our boat back to us after it had come untied from the houseboat we were cruising down the lake in. He could do that because the keys were still in it! Again, he had saved the day before we realized it.
Our family was truly blessed to have many good memories of a man like Jim. With deepest sympathy, Dave, Kathy, Jon, and Janna

Wendy,
I'm so sorry to here about Jim.
He and I had great times with the kids, in the back yard,
when they were young.

I'm blessed to have known Jim, and he was a kind, funny and always upbeat man. I'm glad he got to enjoy Annie the cat, who I'm sure misses him, too. You are missed by everyone who had the pleasure of being called "friend", me included.
