I think of you often, Myra, especially on April 1. I think of the fun times we all had on Gladys Drive and wonder how our parents ever survived all our antics. I'll see you one of these days in the near future.

Though it's been over a decade since our paths last crossed, I often think of lessons Mrs. Triick taught to my fourth-grade class at Amanda Elementary during the 1992/93 school year. I was also lucky enough to make further memories with her, as well as her husband David, when they later became neighbors with my grandmother.
While I was privileged to learn from a series of excellent educators at Amanda, what I will most remember about Mrs. Triick was her acceptance of everyone for who they were. No matter a student's strengths or weaknesses, where they hailed from or the hand they were dealt, she gave each of us the same compassion and care... usually with an added dose of humor and wit.
Thank you, Mr. Triick, for allowing me to be me, and for helping me to understand the value of showing that same grace to others.
My condolences to her family, friends, and the countless others whose lives she touched.

My sincere condolences to the Triick family. She was my 4th grade teacher at Amanda in 1974. I remember her fondly, a very nice woman. Rest in peace.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Myra's death at noon today. Myra and I grew up two houses from each other in Middletown, Ohio and loved the times we were able to be with her and David over the years during our trips back to Ohio. We know she is in a far better place today than we can ever imagine but know that at some point in the future we'll all be together again. Thank you for your friendship Myra and know that you will be greatly missed by all those of us who knew you and loved you. We'll see you again some day.

Those of us in the Living Today Sunday School class at Destin United Methodist Church were more than blest (some us for many years) to study God's Word and fellowship with precious Myra, our class including her doting and beloved husband David, her adoring sister Bea, and her "always there" brother-in-law Dan. We look forward to celebrating her life this coming Saturday
