although I did not personally know Jim, my wife was the organist at the Naz in Oskaloosa when he pastored here and while he was pastoring here, his sister was my student at Irving Jr Hg and was the accompanist for my choir. Deepest sympathies to Kathy and the family. He truly made a positive impression on this community

Although I met Jim later in life, he truly made an impression. He was always conversational and interested in others. He will definitely be missed, and my prayers are with his family and friends.
