Ruth was the very best nursing supervisor I ever had the honor of working for. She managed a huge mental health unit at the former Saint Elizabeth Hospital. There was three shifts of staff and about twenty Psychiatrists she had to learn to work with. I was always impressed by her energy level and how well she dealt with so many people with varied personalities. Ruth was a mentor and a friend.
