Johnny, you were a very special individual. I cherish your book, Brother Against Brother. Your face always lit up when you were talking about it, bringing joy to so many and also increasing their understanding of the Civil War. You will be missed by your family and friends.

I am sorry I will not be able to attend the service for John, as we are attending to a critically ill family member. I am sorry to hear of John's passing and especially send my condolences to Marlene, as the 3 of us were co-workers at Square D/ Schneider Electric for many years. John was a passionate and enthusiastic man.

To Marlene and her family, so sorry to hear that John (Little John) has made his transition. He was a delight to work with at Square D and listen to him talk about his book. May your inner strength sustain you as you enter a new part of life's journey without his presence.
