Tom Barrow was a genuinely kind and generous individual. I had the privilege of knowing him during my time at Columbia Theological Seminary. Tom was a deeply spiritual person who was concerned about the future growth of the church. On a personal level, he was like a second father to me. We shared lunch together on several occasions, and he would often jokingly ask whether I preferred an expensive or inexpensive meal, which usually led us to the same Mexican restaurant near his office. I fondly remember those times, and I miss him dearly.

Tom was a wonderful mentor and teacher. He did so much to help me in my professional journey. I have missed his company for some time now but I will never forget him.

The first memory of Mr. Barrow is during my introduction to the company and him showing me the circle diagram of how he viewed TBCo. Something that I will ALWAYS remember is when a few of us new people went to a jobsite visit with Mr. Barrow driving his gold van. Instead of pulling into the lot where everyone was supposed to park, he drove into the lot where all of the heavy machinery was moving around. He was driving straight for a lull with the forks pointed straight at us, much like when you play chicken. Mr. Barrow won that game of chicken.....thankfully. Ruth and Tommy, I'm very sorry for your loss. I enjoyed working for Mr. Barrow so very much!
