Ed swore me in when I was elected, and I appreciate his long service to the city of Doraville. Be good!

Ed was my roommate at the Phi Delta house at Emory. He shook me out of bed in the morning! He was a tough guy - I remember him dearly & I tell stories about him to this day. I spoke with him a few years ago, but lost his contact information. I do not know his family, but Ed was my good friend. He will be missed by me and many others. [email protected]

My first job as a lawyer was with Gerstein and Carter. I was 24 years old. then, and thereafter Ed Carter has been a part of my life, career and thoughts for over 60 years. I cherish his words, his grace, his demeanor and his caring soul. He was and will always be with me. May he rest in peace, receiving all of the comfort that he so graciously gave to me and to others.
