James, Jennifer, Anne, Beth, Colleen, Jean, John, Karen, Kevin, Pat, Paul, and Tom. First you have my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Your dad will be very special dedicated to my upcoming book project about broadcasting history around the Youngstown-East Liverpool-Dayton area. I'm sure you have lots of stories of his radio days. He will be deeply missed. -Phil Ciccone

Well I remember his succinct voice on WHIO radio even as a young mom. When I'd think of him I'd always remember a phrase ..
"Olivia Newton cute'. Even now at 84 I recalled that! Yes, "the good that men do lives after them". My deepest condolences in your loss.

My dear, sweet, wonderful Father,
Dad, I've spent years just dreading the day you would shed your mortal coil, but here we are. You are and always were the best example of standing up and doing what's right that a man could ever set. Life handed you a rough deal, but you met the challenge and raised us. Thank you for a lifetime of beautiful memories. Thank you for for all the Holiday Inns and roadside amusements and Disney World trips. Thank you for always being "the cool Dad." Thank you for wowing the girls at my slumber party with "The Sound of Music" on VTR loooong before anyone had that kind of technology at their fingertips. Thank you for introducing me to The Beatles. Thank you for letting me tag along to all those remote gigs at Chris Harris so that I could spend the whole day at the record store next door. Thank you for showing me what "class" means. Thank you for walking me down the aisle. Thank you for always being there for your beloved, Pat, who was taken from you and her family too soon. Watching you love her taught me how to love more deeply.
You will forever be my hero. You are missed, but your light will shine forever. Memory Eternal!!
Your devoted and loving daughter, Jennifer
