Hazel Bush, age 95 of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Hazel was born in Whitley County, Kentucky on January 2, 1929 to George Mays and Nancy (Croley) Mays. She loved to cook for her family and cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Hazel is survived by her son, David (Sheri) Bush; 3 grandchildren, Ethan (Crystal) Bush, Melanie (Matt) Lykins, and Johnathon (Hannah) Bush; and 9 great-grandchildren, Audria, Elizabeth, Natalee, Noah, Samuel, Jacob, Joseph, Abigail, and Isabel. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, George and Nancy Mays; her husband of 70 years, Larry Bush; and 8 siblings. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave., Hamilton, Ohio, on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Johnathon Bush officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
