Eric Anderkin Obituary

ANDERKIN, Eric W.

ERIC W. ANDERKIN, 63, of Springfield passed away peacefully in his home on December 29, 2024. He was born April 22, 1961, in Springfield, Ohio to parents Edward and Joyce (Ross) Anderkin. Eric was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sister. Eric is survived by his children Destine (Brandon) Windle and Ashley (Rocky Brooks) Anderkin. Three beautiful granddaughters Sarah, Taylor, and Briar. Ex-wife Betty Jo Walker, sister Pamela (Carl) Pulver III and sister in-law Vicki Anderkin. Eric was always known to be the life of his OWN party! Always drinking, socializing, or listening to music. He "Rocked Out "to his own beat through his song of life. In Eric's younger years he was a "Jack of all trades" able to work on and fix most anything. He found enjoyment outside occasionally going fishing or catching a race. Most recently Eric found solace watching reruns of old Gunsmoke westerns on tv. This is where he was happiest. Dearly loved and missed, may he rest in peace. Visitation for Eric will be held Thursday January 9, 2024, from 1:00-3:00pm in The Landing building at LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. A graveside service is to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery at 3:30pm.
