I'm so sorry for your loss. I feel as though I have known Tom all of my life, pretty much since the 6th grade. His dad was our barber and our dads were friends, I met Tom first when his dad gave us a pair of their water skiis. At Shawnee, Tom was a senior and I was a sophmore, in those days upper classmen just didn't speak to underclassmen. Tom was different than that and always treated me as an equal, always smiled and had kind words in the hall between classes and an occasional slap on the back. When I wanted to buy my house I called Tom and told him I wanted to look at it. He said "Gimme 14 minutes and I'll meet you there." He made buying my first house a breeze, he also helped me sell our family home. Tom always had kind words and time to chat when we'd cross each other's paths around town. Tom was one in a million and will truly be missed.

Our local real estate community lost a truly special soul. Tom Tropp was the kind of person who made a lasting impression... kind, knowledgeable, and always ready with a smile. I admired his steady work ethic and dedication; he was a familiar, comforting presence in the office, committed to his routine and his clients.
Tom will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. My heart goes out to his loving wife, Judy, and his beautiful family during this difficult time. May you find peace in the many lives Tom touched and the legacy he leaves behind.
