I removed meeting John for the first time in Los Angeles. He was quite a character so full of life. He had his Harley that he had rode from Ohio to Los Angeles with his buddies. He was something. I know Hod welcomed him with open arms. All my love to John´s family.

Dear Pam and family, I am so so sorry to hear of the loss of your loving husband and dad! Pam, when we talked last night my heart just broke for you. You both mean so much to John and I. You were always so supportive when we were at fellowship as it pastor and pastor's wife. When we last visited him, John had a great time visiting with your husband. They sat in an actual theater room where he was staying and talked and joked and just shared about life. You have always been such a supportive person of me and anything I can do to support you, know I will do it! They're no words other than I'm so so sorry. Just want to give you a big hug! May each of your children feel God's presence and peace as you walk through the next days ahead. Blessings and prayers, Betsy John and Michael Essig
