My Family sends our thoughts and prayers to your family during this time. Cindy was a very special person that our whole family was lucky enough to know. I will always have the memories of her at the ball fields when we would be playing with or against the girls. I am going to miss Harry telling me "Aunt Cynthia says Hi!" We will never forget her.
God Bless you all,

May God bless you and keep you and surround you with his love.

Cynthia was a very special person. Cynthia and Logan were active, supportive parents at Hudson Elementary when we met. Both were role models for their community.

Jane Kemp told me that she could spot great child care providers and was most proud she could recruit Cynthia into the profession.

To the family:
I was so surprised to hear of Cindy's diagnosis and prayed for her many times, she was a great woman as you all know and she will be missed by many. I worked with her for years at Lakeshore and she could brighten anyones day. She was an Angel as Jane always called her now Jane and Cindy are our angels watching over us. She provided many good times to many of her friends and family members, remember those times to make it through this time. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

To the family,
"Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew11:28

I was deeply saddened to hear of Cindy's passing. I used to work with Cindy at Lakeshore. She was so good with the kids, and always took the time to ask me about my own children- even long after I'd left Lakeshore. She was a good woman with a loving , kind spirit, and a great sense of humor. I remember she was so proud of her own children and grandchildren! She is going to be missed and my heart really goes out to you all. God Bless you!

To the Scroggins and Cavitt Families,

I was deeply sadden to learn of Cynthia's illness and transition, I offer my heartfelt sympathy and condolences.

Cynthia and I dated our senior year of high school and beginning of college. We drifted apart after I continued my studies at Florida A & M University. She was an intelligent, beautiful young lady with such a warm wonderful spirit and possessed a poise beyond her year's.

It certainly doesn't surprise me of the purposeful life she led caring for our most precious resource - our children. She was such a loving person, I am so pleased that her dream of becoming a wife and mother were realized. I pray her soul and spirit be with our Heavenly Father and that her memory will comfort her family and friends during this most diffcult hour.

All thanks be to God that she touched so many lives on her journey.

May God brush her tears away as he receives her in his warm embrace.

In His Grace,

Walter L. Bland III

To the family of Cindy Scroggins,

I had previously worked at Lakeshore Learning Center with Cindy when I was conducting two different internships in the evenings for a class at Washburn University. I had the wonderful opportunity of working with Cindy and found that she was very funny, but very serious about the care of the children at Lakeshore. Cindy set a good example for others to follow. She and I had many discussions about her work, her family and her grandchildren. I truely enjoyed her company and all of the conversations we had about life in general. Cindy was a terrific person and she will be truly missed. I hope she and Jane Kemp are in heaven celebrating together.

My thought and prayers are with all of the family in this time of loss. May God bless each of you and give you peace!

Very Sincerely,

Becky Springer, Team Leader, Child Care Licensing for Shawnee County

To the Scroggins Family,

My family sends our deepest condolences to your family. Mrs. Scroggins has touched several lives. Often times we are not told, but when a child succeeds in life all the countless small things seems to be worth it. Since I have lived in Topeka, she has been one of the sweetest women I have ever met. Family keep you head up, stay together and know that she will always be in everyone's heart.

You know how when you meet someone, and you can just tell they are special...Cynthia was one of those special people. It is obvious from this guest book that she has touched many lives, both young and old. My daughter played softball with Sahira for several years, and Cynthia was always a joy to keep company with, always a smile on her face, and always a concern for each of the girls. Our deepest condolences to her loved ones. We are so sorry she had to be ill, but she is no longer. She has seen the face of God, and we are sure He has made a lovely, blessed home for her in His heavenly home.

I wish to express my deepest condolence to the Scroggins and Cavitte family. My sister Gail called me to tell me of the sad news. Floyd I am so sorry about the lost of your sister. I remember when you, Carol your family and sister came to Topeka during the mid or late sixties. You love soft baseball and would take the kids in the neighborhood and Cynthia to play softball. I will miss your sister Cynthia. Logan and Floyd, my prayers will be with you and your families through this most difficult time.

Dear Family,
I also was touched by our Cindy,we worked at lakeshore together in the same room for many years. We had lots of laughs and some tough times to, but I was never so glad to have anyone but cindy, in my room. I could always leave knowing my kids were going to be loved and cared for. Jane always called cindy our "Angel", now she truly is, watching down over us all, and especially her kids. God bless you all. Just remember that it is true, that there will be sunshine and a whisper of cindy in everything you do.
With all my prayers
