Nancy Eagan

Nancy Sue Eagan, 78, Topeka, Kansas, astute businesswoman, successful realtor, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Nancy was born April 2, 1947, in Topeka, to Jesse and Dorotha Holloway Coward. She attended Gage Grade School, Roosevelt Jr. High, graduated from Topeka High School in 1965 and earned an associate degree in business from Nicolet College in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.

Nancy's career in real estate spanned 45 years when she retired from Hawks Realty.

Nancy loved her family wholeheartedly and will be remembered and cherished for the way she showed her love. They, in turn, loved her dearly and her presence will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Steve Eagan; daughters, Shelli Jernigan (Luke) and Jodi Jendrysik (Jason); grandchildren, Asheley Sisk (John), Frankie Greco, Austin Slimmer (Kara), Haley Williams (Nino), Hunter Jendrysik and Chase Jendrysik (Jhazlynn); great-grandchildren, Alyvia Sisk, Julia Sisk, Milan Williams, Londyn Williams, Myles Slimmer and Phoenix Williams; and her brother, Terry Lee Coward.

Nancy's funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, February 28, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, sent in care of the funeral home.
