William Fenwick Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Rupp Funeral Home - St. Joseph on Feb. 24, 2026.
William Clarence Fenwick, 47, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away February 23, 2026. Born in Savannah, Missouri, William lived with a brilliant mind, a stubborn strength, and a heart that ran deeper than most ever knew.
He worked as an IT Specialist at the VA Hospital Topeka, where his intelligence and steady presence made a lasting impact. Known as the smartest man in the room, he carried his knowledge with quiet confidence. William loved the outdoors, rock and roll, and had a special bond with animals, who seemed to sense his gentle spirit. Above all, he was a father, brother, uncle, and friend, who was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
William was preceded in death by his father, Everett Fenwick, mother, Marie Fenwick, and brother, John Fenwick. Survivors include: his daughter, Jamie (Gaige) Hollars of Saint Joseph, MO, sisters, Jackie Fenwick and Gina Fenwick, niece and nephews, Kaitlin, Matthew, and Devin, and 1 great-niece.
Mr. Fenwick has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. There are no scheduled services at this time. Online condolences and obituary at www.ruppfuneral.com.
