Judith Ann Eagan, age 81, of Stoneham, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on December 15, 2025 after a recent diagnosis of an aggressive brain cancer. She was the cherished daughter of the late George W. Tracy and Mary (Lannagan) Tracy. Born on March 30, 1944, she was raised in Calais, Maine and graduated from Calais High School in 1962. Judy worked as an X-Ray Technician until marriage, and then settled in Stoneham, Massachusetts to raise her family. She was the sister (and best friend) of Bonnie Tracy of Sanford, Maine; and Robert Tracy of Bangor, Maine; and predeceased by sister Donna Tracy of Murfreesboro, TN.

Judy was the beloved mother to Peter J. Eagan and partner Mary Seward of North Reading, MA; Cindy Stanton of Lebanon, NH; Crista Johnson and partner Tim Kelley of Stoneham, MA; and predeceased by her dear son Stephen J. Eagan of Billerica, MA. Judy was the loving mother-in-law to Eric Stanton, Wayne Johnson, and Michele Eagan. She was also the adoring Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Judy’s greatest pride was raising her four children and becoming a grandmother. Judy was the adored “Grammy” to Brooke Stanton Hurd and husband Andrew Hurd of Haverhill, MA; Brittany Stanton-Jack and husband Colton Jack of Canaan, NH; Madison, Katelyn, and Stephen R. Eagan. of Billerica, MA; and Feliks and Leah Johnson of Stoneham, MA. Judy was also the loving Great-Grandmother to Lucy Hurd.

Judy loved to play board games, cards, and spend time by her pool with her family and many friends. She also adored getting away and travelling with her cherished lifelong friends, ‘The Neighborhood Girls’. Her legacy lives on in the laughter she inspired and the love and joy she brought to all those in her life.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan-Anderson Funeral Home, 322 Main Street in Stoneham, on Saturday, January 24 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Her Interment will be set at a later date for the Springtime with family.
