Frances Ridenour Obituary

Frances (Toia) Ridenour, 80, Raytown, MO, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at Research Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 8 at Beacon Free Will Baptist Church, 10825 E. 79th St., Raytown, MO 64138; burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124; and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church. Frances was born April 3, 1927 in Kansas City, MO. She was a member of Beacon Free Will Baptist Church, the Women's Auxiliary, and Mother's Day Out. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Frances (Terre) Toia; daughter, Phyllis McManamin; and sisters, Catherine Ferrante and Petrina Scroggin. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, George Ridenour; sister, Joey Tarantino; daughter, Frances Ann Ferina; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffery and Linda Ridenour, David and Susan Ridenour; grandchildren, Karen McManamin, Mike McManamin, Trina Ducey, Terri Wheeler, Tammy Wheeler; seven step-grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren; sisters-in-law, JoAnn, Shirley, and Mary; and many nieces and nephews. Frances was an incredibly loving person who cared for others. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. (arr: Passantino Bros. Funeral Home (816) 471-2844)

George & family:
Frances loved you, her family, deeply, and it always showed. Her love and loyalty to her family, both earthly, and church, stands as a testimony to her faith and dedication to Christ. I thank our Lord for lending her to us as a friend and sister in Christ. We will miss her greatly.
