George S. Patterson

GEORGE S. PATTERSON George S. Patterson, 82, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at St. Lucie Medical Center. Born in Granite City, IL, George has been a resident of Fort Pierce, FL for the past 25 years, coming from Granite City, IL. George was a United States Navy veteran, serving in World War II and the Korean War. Prior to retirement, he worked as a master electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers local # 649 for 50 years, in Alton, IL. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge 835, in Granite City, IL as well as the DAV in Fort Pierce, FL. Survivors include, wife, Mary Patterson, of Fort Pierce, FL, daughter, Jeannie Deutschman, of Port St. Lucie, FL, brother, Bob Patterson, of Troy, IL, sister, Shirley Scroggins, of Edwardsville, IL, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. George was predeceased by his brother Gary Patterson. Memorial contributions may be made the Chapel by the Sea, 1717 Gulfstream Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34949.
