CHRISTOPHER H. SCHWINDT, JR., 77, of Memphis, passed away May 20, 2008. Christopher was a retired electrician for Coors Company; he was a retired member of the I B E W and the Moose Lodge. He retired from the United States Navy after 21 years. He served during the Korean Conflict and Cuba Missile Crisis. He leaves behind his wife of 58 years, LaVerne Schwindt; daughters, Mary Pickering and husband, Michael, Margarette Robinson, Suheyla Scroggins and husband, David; sons, Christopher H. Schwindt, III and wife, Pam, John Schwindt and wife, Amy; two sisters, Pete and Buddi; fifteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Christopher was preceded in death by five siblings and his granddaughter, Michelle Huffman. Visitation will be from 5 -8 p.m., Friday, May 23 at Family Funeral Care.
