I have so many great memories of when I was a child and the times we shared together and how bad I missed him when he left Longview. I enjoyed the times I got to visit him and Mary in Yuba city even though I wish I could have been able to visit more often. I will never forget Uncle Buddy's phone calls everyday when I was so sick and going thru my surgeries, he always showed his love and kindness in all he did. I'll miss sharing our fish tales while out on the river. Last fall was my last time seeing him in person and he wanted some smoked fish so I brought him some, then when I got home I called and asked how he enjoyed it and he said "well the cat sure enjoyed it". Apparently he gave the kitty a taste and it went ahead and finished it off. That just shows how generous he was. I've always been proud to tell people of how patriotic Uncle Buddy was by serving in the millitary for as long as he did. I take great comfort in knowing I will see him again in heaven. My thoughts and prayer's are with Aunt Mary and the rest of the family.

To all of you, we so sorry we can't be there tomorrow for Buddys service. Our hearts will be there with all of you.We Love you all so very much and we are glad we made the trip when he was so bad in September. We know he is in a better place because he knew Jesus. Boy, he was really a fighter ,wasn't he? So many times they said he wouldn't make it. We will miss him very much. Hope to see you all about April. We will keep you all in our prayers. Love Don & Carol
