Anita Carol Docksteader

Anita Docksteader, 67, passed away peacefully on November 27th, 2025. She had lived in Florida for the last 23 years before recently moving back to Kentucky to be near family and friends. She will be remembered for her bawdy, ever-present sense of humor and care-free spirit but even more for her deep kindness, compassion, and generosity, often offered even when she had very little herself. Anita collected countless stories from her many adventures living in different parts of the country in her younger years. She touched lives wherever she went, creating memories and deep connections that continued right up to her final days. Those moments, stories, and shared laughter are the seeds that will continue to thrive and keep her vibrantly alive in our hearts for so many years to come.
