Ethel Silverman

Ethel Silverman, 89, of Rancho Mirage, Calif. passed away April 24, 2009 in Rancho Mirage, Calif. of a massive stroke. She was born Dec. 8, 1919 to Charles and Rae Podolsky in Kansas City, MO. She married Harold on June 17, 1937 in Kansas City, MO. She was a homemaker for 67 years. She is survived by daughter-in-laws, Linda Silverman of Long Beach, Calif. and Debbie Silverman of Palm Desert, Calif.; sons, Ronald Silverman of Long Beach, Calif. and Howard Silverman of Palm Desert, Calif.; brother, Robert Silverman of Dal Ray Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Ethel was preceded in death by Harold Silverman, husband for 67 years. Services were held on April 26, 2009 at Forest Lawn, Cathedral City. The family suggests that donations be made to Odyssey House of Palm Desert, CA. Forest Lawn Cathedral City is in charge of arrangements.
