Dr. Stuart Silverman

SILVERMAN, Dr. Stuart "Tudy", age 92, passed away January 28, 2026, beloved husband of Joanne Silverman, devoted father of Amy (Doug) Ross, Dr. Marc (Julie) Silverman and Dr. Rick (Anita) Silverman, dear brother of the late Lewis Silverman, loving grandfather of Amanda (Daniel) McKasson, Sophie (Henry) Brooks, Janie (Dr. Jason) Sherman, Emma Silverman, Noah Silverman (Noah Braun), Nathan (Krista) Silverman and Philip (Brittany) Silverman, great grandfather of Miles Ross McKassan.

Stuart attended the University of Cincinnati where he played baseball, and was the catcher for Major League Hall of Famer Sandy Koufax, graduating in 1955. He then went on to dental school at Ohio State, and graduated Cum Laude in 1959. He married the love of his life, Joanne Hening in 1959. Stuart and Joanne had their first born, Amy, in 1961, followed by Marc in 1962, and Rick in 1965. He was a 5 time Club Champion at Crest Hills Country Club, where he was instrumental in the Hospice of Cincinnati Fundraiser Tournament which ultimately built the inpatient unit in Blue Ash. Stuart was appointed to the Ohio State Dental Board in 1990. He was most proud of having his sons, Marc and Rick, join him in his dental practice. One of his biggest highlights of working with his children was being able to sign Rick's dental license.

Funeral services will be held on Friday January 30, 2026 at 11:00AM at Weil Kahn Funeral Home, 8350 Cornell Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45249 with visitation beginning at 10:00AM. Services will be LIVESTREAMED https://webcast.funeralvue.com/events/embed_viewer/119537. Friends may call on the family on Friday from 5-7PM at The Summit of Blue Ash in the Family Center, 4351 Sycamore Creek Drive Blue Ash, Ohio 45242. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Association or Hospice of Cincinnati would be appreciated.
