This is our first Christmas/New Years that we didn't get to share in some special way. I can't describe the joy and happiness you brough to our life, and I know I will have a tremendous void in my life until we're together again. Thanks for the memories my Love!

Elaine and Charlie moved to Desert Hot Springs just a few short years ago. We lived next door to one another. We shared many a pleasant dinner and conversation together. Elaine told the craziest stories. Many could have been made into Neil Simon stage plays. Elaine truly made us laugh.
Jan Hiatt and I became her "daughters" during Elaine's last days. We were there with her at the hospital and at the hospice. We were there because we simply loved Elaine. She was so much more than just a neighbor, Elaine was our friend.
We love you Charlie, we miss her!

Elaine was too talented, too multi-faceted, too full of life and living to go by only one name. So we will miss not only Elaine, but Cassie, Rosie, Fedelma, and a number of other marvelous ladies. She left a mark on all our hearts.

The fondest memories I have of Elaine were sitting in your living room and singing songs. Her love of life was an inspiration for us all.
The light all around us faded a little when she left, but her memory will live a long fruitful life within all of our hearts.
Elaine's time in our lives was short, but her love will remain with us all.

Samm was "larger than life," in the kindest way. She had an incredible range of talents but was best at being a friend.
Charlie- you were blessed by each and every day with her.
She will be missed

Today I am wearing the Wizard of Oz watch that Aja gave me. Tears flow whenever I look at it. Her love was so generous and pure. Charlie, please feel our sympathies and prayers for your comfort. I know Aja is flying high by now on the wings of the Angels that loved her so deeply.

Elaine, you ascended to a higher place and cradled in the spiritual light of love and peace, your loving nature will shine brighter for those you left behind.
I enjoyed our last conversation about people and life and was just getting to know you better and like people having a tendency to procrastinate, I put off our visit too long and never got the chance, but you will always remain in my thoughts and I will treasure your gift to me when we first met. Love ,Lori

Though I feel saddened at all of our loss, I do not cry for Elaine. Elaines spirit is in the clouds with all the happiness and sweetness of a life long lived and long loved... Her eyes are forever etched in my memory, eyes that saw through and into you with such lust for life and compassion... and not a little humor and impishness! That grin of hers was a dead give-away, a fun and free spirit to the core our Elaine!
I hurt for you Charlie, for though I know you wish to celebrate her life, you must miss her so terribly much. The unfillable void, the unbearable silence when a loved voice goes quiet forever... All my heart goes to you my dear sweet Charlie.
I may have gone far away, and I may not be physically close, but my life is richer for having known Elaine. Forgotten I have never, cherish I will always. Thank you Elaine, for being in our lives, for someone like you can never truly leave. Your foot prints in the sand of our lives cannot be washed away with time, there is no ocean strong enough.

Charlie,
I am very saddened by Elaine's passing. She was a wonderful, loving, down-to-earth person, and I am grateful for have knowing her. She was a great performer, I enjoyed the music and the good times. I know now she is with God and has been reunited with her son and loved ones, yet at the same time, she will never truly leave you. I will truly miss her.

I remember Cassandra from her readings at "The Sorcerer's Shop." I would generally set up the clients and she'd spend the hour with them trying to help them to make better decisions in their lives. Between readings we'd spend a lot of time talking and I got to know her and her sense of humor. She was a gentle soul who genuinely cared about people and all living things. There were even times when I would have a bit of a problem and she would do what she could to help; even if it was nothing more than listening. Many are the times I would visit her, Charlie and the "menagerie" and we'd talk about different things. I will certainly miss her.

Charlie, Our friendship goes back to the 1960s in the USCG at Groton, CT.
Your loss is so great and your grief is deep. Yet Elaine is surely resting in the arms of God.
God be with you brother.

When I met you and "Kelly," you were one of the bands playing at Magic Mtn, CA. I thought your band was hot! You both brought a new fiddler into your band and made a musician out of her! Playing with you both over the years was exciting, entertaining and wonderful. Kelly was so smart, quirky, giving, open, funny, warm-hearted, diverse...I could go on and on. She was inspiring. My children will remember her with great fondness. I will continue to remember her for the rest of my life.

My Dearest Love, Companion, and Helpmate. You had to leave me much too soon, but I was blessed beyond description for the many happy years you gave to me. You said, "We've had one heck of a 50 years." Yep, and we never had time to get bored. Right now, I am so lonely for you and I have a void that will never be filled. I'm happy that we both knew our love is forever!
