Aunt Helen Lee,
You and Uncle Jack were an amazing couple. I will always remember the summer vacations, playing flashlight tag with Michael & Joanna, and saying
the prayer at the supper table as a family. I love you, take care.

Coral and I are deeply saddened by the passing of Jack and want you to know that you are in our prayers. I had the privilege of Jack being my first acquisition project manager and quickly found out he was a great leader, educator and boss whom I admired and then became a trusted friend. During our travels Jack frequently spoke of his love for you and his family – it’s good to be with you, but it sure would be a lot nicer if Helen were here instead. I’m glad I had the opportunity to be with Jack, he made a positive mark on my life, he knew what was important, his family and his faith, and I look forward to a great reunion one day. God Bless you and your family.

Dear Helen,
Jim and I are so saddened to hear about Jack. He was a great American hero. He dedicated his life to the defense of our country both as a military professional and as a civilian. You and the family are in our thoughts and prayers. His retirement was way too short.

Dear Helen: Jan and I have you, your children, and your grandchildren in our hearts and prayers during this heartbreaking time. Jack was truly a great American, a valued friend and a brother who will be remembered for the wonder times we shared in SF, as fellow gun pilots, as action officers in the pentagon and throughout the ensuing years. I am sorry that I could not be there to share the grief. Rest in peace my brother.

Mrs. Bertelkamp & Family,
I was very saddened to hear about Jack, you have my deepest sympathy.
As a young man just starting my career, I had the pleasure of working with Jack. At the time my wife was fighting cancer and Jack offered his support. I don’t know if he really knew the positive impact he had on me. His strong words of encouragement and insightfulness provided comfort in an otherwise unbearable situation. To this day I still recall some of our conversations and have such fond memories of him. He always seemed to bring a smile to my face even in the most desperate of times. I hope that you can find some comfort in knowing that I am just one of the so many lives that he touched. He will be sorely missed but not forgotten.
You and your family will remain in our thoughts and prayers.

You and your family are in our prayers. I simply cannot imagine the pain you are feeling. Try and take comfort in knowing he is in good hands.
Do you remember our night out having BBQ? and your comment to him "Jack, you look like you have been in a fight". We all broke up on that one.
We would be there for you, but are in So Carolina helping Sam's Mom with her cancer radiation treatments.
Again, you have our deepest sympathy.

Jack and I were roommates during his last semester at JCU. We shared an interesting time together as his life style and dedication were evident even at that age.
May God prepare a fitting place for him in the after life.
