Kenneth Osterhoudt Obituary

Formerly of Matamoras, PA

Kenneth D. Osterhoudt, age 66, of Jacksonville, NC, formerly longtime resident of Matamoras, PA, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

He was born on June 30, 1943 in Port Jervis, NY, the son of the late Douglas and Isabel Smith Osterhoudt. He celebrated 47 years of marriage to Linda Morgan Osterhoudt, who survives at home.

Kenneth worked as an Industrial Heating and Air Sheet Metal Worker and a member of Local #38 Sheet Metal Workers International. He loved dogs and life.

He is also survived by his son, James Osterhoudt and his wife, Gale of Port Jervis; his grandson, Brandon Osterhoudt; one niece and one nephew and his special four legged friends, Muffin, Cookie, Justin and Hunter. He was predeceased by his daughter, Sherry Comfort.

Memorial donations may be made to CAPS (Carolina Animal Protection Society), c/o Lisa Smith, PO Box 171, Sparrowbush, NY 12780.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
