Erin Keith Obituary
WASHINGTON - Erin Michelle Keith, 37, of Washington, Ill., died at 6:27 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center's emergency room in Peoria.
Born on July 16, 1972, in Peru, Ill., to John W. and Margaret E. "Maggie" Glasier Clark, she married Shannon J. Keith on April 19, 2008, in Washington, Ill. He survives.
Also surviving are three children, Devin E. Olson of Washington, Ill., Amber N. Olson of Green Valley, Ill., and Adreana L. Keith of Washington, Ill.; one brother, Michael J. Clark of Washington; her paternal grandmother, Erma Clark of McMinnville, Ore.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Erin attended St. Patrick School and Washington Community High School and did coursework at Illinois Central College. A talented artist, Erin completed several watercolors and pen and ink drawings. Her passions were her pets, her aquariums and her flower gardens. She also enjoyed time spent with her family.
A funeral Mass will be at 12 noon on Saturday, June 19, 2010, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington, with Father Joseph Donton and Deacon Bill Sloman presiding. Visitation will be from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Saturday at the church. Cremation rites will be accorded. A funeral luncheon will follow the Mass at St. Patrick gymnasium and then an additional gathering will be at the Vietnam Veterans of Illinois, 100 W. Bittersweet Road in Washington. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to an educational fund to benefit Erin's children, c/o Washington State Bank, or to TAPS.

I am so sorry to hear about Erin. She was a very dear friend to my friend, Kathy Almasy. Kathy and Erin knew each other since they were 9 years old. I became friends with Erin online through Kathy, and Erin was such an awesome friend to have, she sent me things online almost everyday, she brightened my days all the time. She touched my life for a short time and I will never forget her. She will forever be close to my heart. I have thought about her everyday and miss her very much. Her family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers and may our hearts be filled with all the memories that we have of Erin.
