Carl Alan Auer, 77 years , born 1934 in Mount Pleasant, PA, passed away Nov. 26, 2011 in Fountain Hills, AZ. He served in the Air Force from 1954-1958. After a long career in manufacturing, both foreign and domestic, as executive V.P. of Manufacturing with Crown, Cork & Seal Company, he went into business with Genuine Tool Co. and later with Nature's Blend Wood Products in western PA. He moved to AZ in 1997 as General Manager of Auer Precision. He retired in 2003. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Helen, brother John and his wife Linda, of Mesa, AZ, several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Maggee, who is still looking for him. There will be a visitation Thursday, December 1, 2011, 5:00-8:00 pm with a 7:00 pm Vigil service at Messinger Fountain Hills Chapel, 12065 N. Saguaro Blvd., Fountain Hills, AZ. A Funeral Mass will be Friday, December 2, 2011, 9:30 am, at the Church of the Ascension, 12615 N. Fountain Hills Blvd., Fountain Hills, AZ. Burial will be at The National Memorial Cemetery of AZ., Phoenix, AZ Donations in his memory may be made to ALS Foundation or a charity of choice.
