Olin F. Harrigan, 84, died at home on June 27, 2012.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Frances Hurt; four children, Mary Ellen, Mike and Harry Harrigan and Peggy Sammons; his sister, Clara Taylor, and her family.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at McDowell Baptist Church.

To my sweetest Uncle Olin...I will always rememebr the many nights as a child ,when we were always at your house and I would watch everyone play poker,drink beer, and you always eating a huge turket leg..:) and how you always made me laugh and when you were there for me when papa passed.You were such a card though..always finding a way to make everyone laugh and telling your "dirty"jokes..You are with papa and U. Buster now...looking over us all..Love you and miss yoU!
