Joanne Mueller

Mueller, Joanne LOUDONVILLE Joanne Mueller, 70, of Loudonville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth Fiske Gonyea, sister of the late Judy Allen, Andrew and Richard Gonyea. Joanne was a graduate of Philip Schuyler High School. She was employed with Excelsior College in Albany for several years. Joanne enjoyed attending her grandchildren's various school and recreational activities including but not limited to Michael's baseball games and Jennifer's dance routines. She was a devoted fan of the long running soap, General Hospital. Joanne is the beloved wife of 51 years to Frederick Charles Mueller. She is the loving mother of Joanne (John) Hanson and Randolph (Michele) Mueller. She is the cherished grandmother of Michael Mueller and Jennifer Mueller. Joanne is the cousin of Mary (Pete) Durocher; sister-in- law of Carol Gonyea and dear friend of Mary Wilkinson. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Eddy and Home Medical Association for all of their care and support provided to Joanne and her family during her illness. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 12 noon at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens. At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Joanne Mueller.
