Hey mamaw it’s Courtney. Here lately I’ve been thinking about you and all the times I would call and ask to come spend the night with you. We’d do our make up and our hair and play dress up all the time. I remember you had your fur coats in the front closet and I was always so excited when I got to wear one. I remember every Wednesday after church we would go straight to UDF and get ice cream❤ How you’d go in the back yard with me and play ball. Teach me how to garden. Tell me stories about when you were younger that I found so interesting. I remember every time I’d spend the night with you, I’d ask you to tell me old stories and I remember falling asleep to them every time❤ As we both got older I started to be with friends more and you’re health began to not be as great which meant I didn’t see you that often anymore and I wish it was different. I wish I wouldn’t came and spent the night one more time. Went and got ice cream with you just one more time. Planted more flowers in the garden with you. You slowly forgot who I was but that’s okay, I’ll always remember you mamaw❤ Wearing all your jewelry and all that red. I know you’re in a much better place with out suffering. You can walk now and you don’t have to worry about forgetting anything! Im sorry I drifted away from you..I love and miss you mamaw❤ I know you’re dancing up there❤

Ohh mammaw I love you soo much I know you are in a better place and soo happy to see poppi again. I'll never forget always going to feed the ducks, you painting my nails almost everytime I came over, going thrift shopping, getting icecream after church on wednesdays to just simply sitting on the back porch watching the birds. You always had a smile on your face and was the most loving, caring, and generous mammaw ever! RIH you will definitely be missed

My sweet Mammaw, the one who seemed to hold the family together, the one who always wanted us to all be together she always took us to church on Wednesday’s and we always stopped at Udf to get ice cream afterwards. She had a great sense of fashion and always looked her best. I have always missed getting the family together over the years after she went to the widows home because personally I enjoyed the time we got to spend with family we didn’t always get to see etc. seeing her in the widows home was very hard because she was not herself and watching someone develop that level of dementia is hard especially when it’s your own family. I will always cherish being blessed with a Mammaw like her ❤ I love you, see you again one day sweet lady!

Thank you mamaw for all the things you done for me growing up and after I was grown. Never went hungry around you and neither did any of my friends. You always showed the kind of love only a grandma could have. I love you , rest with the Lord.
