One of the best teachers at Dunbar High School during my years . . . 1972-1975. She was a great supporter of students and sports at Dunbar. I also would like to say thank you, Ms. Tucker for the support you gave to the Cole family - all those years from 1969 - 2020. May you Rest In Peace. God, you now have a great teacher. I owe my love of science and medicine to Ms. Mary Lou Tucker. She was an advocate, inspiration and champion for all her students at Dunbar High School. We stayed in touch throughout the years and I have always been impressed with her humility in light of her many accomplishments and awards. She never boasted about herself, choosing rather to heap praise upon her many students. Rest in heaven, Ms. Tucker. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

I worked with Mary for several years at Montgomery Developmental Center. Mary was a great advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities. She will be missed in this community.
