Helen was a dear friend and an activist in community affairs well into her nineties. She served with me on the Piqua City Diversity Committee and was the Treasurer of PROD (Promoting Recognition Of Diversity) for many years. Tribute to her Civil Service and business leadership as the proprietor of Cuff's Beauty Shop will earn her future "ownership identity" in the Smith & Cuff Tonsorial Parlor at The Randolph & McCulloch Freedom's Struggle Complex.

I was very sorry to hear of Miss Helen's passing. I was a former resident of PH &R and got to know her and used to help her around some. She loved to play card games there! She was a very sweet loving lady.
